The velvet material makes the handle feel surprisingly plush against my palm, and it’s got just enough flexibility that my dog seems to pull less on our morning walks. I’ve only had it a week, but the softness hasn’t worn thin yet, and the length is perfect for keeping her close at the crosswalk.

The stitching has held up through daily walks for three weeks now, and the velvet hasn't matted or frayed at the edges. My dog pulls a bit, but the grip stays secure without any chafing on my palm. It's the most comfortable leash I've owned, hands down.

The velvet is so plush that my hand doesn’t slip even when she lunges after a squirrel, and it’s held up fine on our muddy morning walks. Honestly, I catch myself petting the leash more than I should.
